Network Security
There are many areas in an organization that need to be considered to ensure network security. Systems designed for each area, such as network security hardware, software, and network organization, should be used, as any part of the network may be compromised. Network security can be divided into three main categories.
- Physical attack- This is done to prevent physical attacks or to prevent unauthorized persons from physically accessing the network device. For example It is possible to protect the technical room where the network devices are located, by deciding to let only authorized people in.
- Technical safety - This protects the data stored on or transmitted over the network and prevents data loss. It controls the physical and system access of the user.
- Network security management - All types of communication on a computer take place over a network. Network security management protects the network from external and internal intrusions and keeps the user's network open and secure.
Internationally, network security is classified according to the following directions.
- Network Access Control
- Antivirus and Antimalware Software
- Application security.
- Behavioral analytics.
- Data loss prevention.
- Distributed denial of service prevention.
- Email security.
- Firewall Protection
- Mobile device security.
- Network segmentation.
